Welcome to enda inter-arabe, a pioneering microfinance institution in Tunisia. Since 1990, enda-ia has been contributing to both economic development and poverty alleviation by helping low income populations who are excluded from the formal financial system to gain access to financial services that are adapted to their needs. Through our network of 57 branches in 22 out of Tunisia’s 24 districts, enda-ia is currently serving 123,000 active borrowers living in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. Since 1995, when we began our microcredit programme, enda-ia has granted a total of 575,000 loans to 193,000 families for a global value of 318 million dinars.
